During our initial pre-shoot with each bombshell we make a point to show our portfolio look books as well as our old pin-up art, paintings and old Hollywood/silver screen icon books we have on hand. We make a collaborative effort to incorporate our ideas, wardrobe choices and props in the planing stages bringing each clients inspiration to interpretation. We offer wardrobe from our bombshell closet which is full of props, shoes, and any 40s/50s era appropriate clothing you can imagine.
Brittany had a wide range of inspiration, three completely different looks to channel in one days work.
First look…Old Hollywood Style, Bettie Page Inspired theme. She screams Bettie Page in these shots with the appropriate hair and make-up styling by our bombshell stylist, Kathryn Petras. We chose the perfect fitted corset and skirt ensemble to finish the her look.
Second look…Vanity in a towel, who knew a lady in a towel and nothing else would be so sex kitten.
Third Look…Pin-up Picnic, inspired by my fave pin-up painter, Gil Elvgren. The dress she is wearing is a vintage dress my mother created years ago. I am so happy it was preserved well so we can use it in our shoots today. It was the perfect size and perfect dress for the scene.
